After the 22-year-old rapper was tragically shot and killed on Dec. 28, many members of the rap community rushed to Twitter to express their shock and sadness, and to send their prayers to Doe’s family.
At 22 years old, Doe Bwas taken far too soon. After news broke that the Hustle Gang rapper had been shot and killed in Montgomery, Ala. on Dec. 28, rappers like Drake,T.I.,Meek Mill, and many more flocked to Twitter to send out prayers and really just mourn.
Doe B Shot & Killed: Rappers React On Twitter
T.I., who had signed Doe to his group, Hustle Gang, in the summer of 2013, was the first person to break the sad news. On Instagram and Twitter he wrote:
RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my nigga. U’ll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always.

A rep for Doe B then tweeted from his account to confirm the sad news, and his manager DJ Frank White followed suit, also railing against gun violence:
