The 21-year-old kicked off Barbara Walter‘sThe 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013on Dec. 18, and she didn’t apologize for her outrageous year filled with twerking, sexual performances and inappropriate songs. The singer actually told the veteran TV host that she’s planning to top herself in 2014!
Miley Cyrus Talks Getting Naked: ‘I’m Either Boring Or I’m A Slut’
Miley, who appears to have gone off the deep end in the past few months, revealed that she actually doesn’t feel the need to always take her clothes off. In fact, she told Barbara that she’s always be criticized no matter what she does.
“I don’t always want to be naked,” she said, explaining that she feels she can’t win in the media. “No matter what I do, I’m either boring or I’m a slut.”
The saddest part of the interview was when she said, “I was never really happy with who I was.” (She was referring to her pre-Bangerzdays.)
Her mom,Tish Cyrus, made a quick appearance and revealed that she actuallydoesn’tagree with all of Miley’s decisions.
“There are times, as a mom, I’m like, ‘What are you thinking?’ she admitted. “This is what 20-year-olds do. She’s just doing it in front of the world.”

Not only did Miley release her album Bangerz, showing a much more adult side than we’re used to seeing, but she promoted the big release with some insane performances. First came the MTV Video Music Awards, where she twerked on Robin Thicke in a onesie, complete with some raunchy down-there dance moves; followed by her performance at the American Music Awards, where she basically did a duet with a giant crying cat head.
Miley’s love life was also a major point of contention in 2013. In June, she and Liam officially confirmed that their engagement was over, following months of speculation from the media. In the following months, Miley was rumored to be dating rapper French Montana.
