This isn’t the first time that Khloe Kardashian has pointedly dissed her soon-to-be-ex-husband Lamar Odom over Instagram. In fact, she did it two days in a row! Considering that the inevitability of their divorce loomed over the pair for months, you’d think that Khloe would want to finally move on from that painful relationship. Especially now that she is dating Matt Kemp!
Khloe Kardashian Disses Lamar Odom Via Instagram (Again)
“Everything is temporary. Forever is an empty promise,” reads the photo posted by Khloe on Dec. 27. This could not possibly be referring to anything other than her marriage to Lamar, which happened in front of Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras in Sept. 2009 after a whirlwind month-long romance.
Until it was revealed that Lamar had been dealing with a severe drug problem, it really did seem as if Khloe and Lamar would be together forever — she clearly felt the same way if she married him, and maybe she had just “[forgotten] that everything is so temporary.”
It’s a pretty pessimistic message, but I think that we can grant Khloe a little pessimism as she goes through a tough divorce.
Khloe Says ‘Live In The Now’: Talking About Matt Kemp?
Along with the image above, however, Khloe captioned the photo“Live in the now.” Could she be talking about Matt Kemp?
After all, the image itself is clearly about Lamar — the caption seems to be a call to move on from what she thought was forever and to embrace the present as it happens.
Khloe’s present being Matt Kemp, of course, as it was revealed by FroshOnly that the new couple will be spending New Year’s Eve together!
It’s a bit contradictory of Khloe to post about moving on at the same time as referencing an old relationship, but we certainly won’t be the ones to begrudge her any hurt feelings from Lamar’s betrayal!
